Bahamas Bliss
In Boston, the past month has been exceptionally frigid.  50 year low temperatures kind of cold.  In response, BikeMass351 decamped for a few days in sunny, balmy Nassau, Bahamas.  And, of course, went for a ride!

Not trusting ourselves to ride on the "wrong side" on narrow, potholed streets, we enlisted a support crew from Cycles Unlimited, an impressive little bike shop in the heart of Nassau.  While they will happily rent you anything from a road bike to a city cruiser, they also arrange a "tourist trip" with guides who can give you a "behind the scenes" tour of their city.  We got up close and personal with the armed guards at Government House, who let us in behind their barricades.  We saw where James Bond (Daniel Craig) made his first "kill" in "Casino Royale" (location set:  Nassau).  We tasted wine, cigars and rum.  We shopped.  We sighted over 300 year old cannon at imaginary pirates in the harbor.  We enjoyed conch salad.  And -- overall had a fantastic time.

Riding in Nassau is not for the faint of heart -- it is city riding with cars that have little respect for bikes (sound familiar?)  But -- with our guides, front and back in our duckling line, we felt safe and fully enjoyed the experience.

Going to Nassau?  Go on a bike tour with Cycles Unlimited!
